The heat arrives before you decide
Anger management is about the seconds before the shout, not the apology after it.
How it feels now
It goes from zero to full volume in a breath. You mean to keep it in. Later you are cleaning up damage you did not plan to make.
What changes
You learn the early signs in your body and get a move to make in that gap. The volume drops. The point still gets made.
Next chapter: you feel the heat start and choose a different first sentence.
